WHAT IS A KNOT? - In Good Hands

I am often asked ‘what is a muscle knot’? The hard, lumpy feeling and usually painful to touch is a muscle knot that occurs when muscle fibres or bands of tissue called fascia underneath them tense and tighten. The muscle fibres start to stick to each other and become adhered.
Chronic stress on our muscles creates micro-tearing of muscle tissue which creates scar tissue.

A deep tissue massage or using my fascia blaster tools can help enormously with knots, tension and muscle pain.
